Great Lakes Sport Dog Assn is a non-profit organization. With a 501-c status applied for, we are listed as a charitable organization with the Internal Revenue Service. Any profits that we gain from our events are donated directly into other charities that aid Michigan's young sportsman,such as purchasing much needed medical equipment for our handicapped and helping to introduce our youth into our sport. We also sponsor at least one upland hunting event per year to raise money for our disabled veterans or to assist a Michigan organization or resident. All the funds we raise and donate stay here in Michigan to assist and aid our youth, those that have served or provides a service to Michigan.
In 2010, GLSDA was able to donate an electric cart and a wheelchair. This year we are hoping to donate two wheelchairs for two children. Any support that you can provide is greatly appreciated not only by GLSDA but also the families that we are able to help.
